Hibachi at Home in Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills homes were built for exactly this kind of evening: a terrace, a pool, a garden with room for a long table, and enough separation from the street that a live teppanyaki show never feels like an imposition. We bring the grill and the performance to you, and your guests never leave the property.
We cook across Beverly Hills, from the Flats to Trousdale and up into the canyons, plus Beverly Grove and Century City nearby. Flat rate $59.90 per adult, $29.90 per child 5–12, and a flat $5 for kids under 5, $599 event minimum, setup and cleanup included, with any travel fee disclosed upfront.

What Your Beverly Hills Quote Actually Includes
Mobile hibachi pricing in Southern California clusters around the same headline number. The difference between services shows up in the line items underneath it, so here are ours.

That is all it takes to lock your date, and it is fully refundable with 72+ hours notice. Plenty of mobile hibachi services ask for $150 or more up front.

Popular in Beverly Hills
Poolside Dinner Parties
The grill on the terrace, the pool lit behind it, and dinner served course by course as it comes off the flat top.
Milestone Birthdays
Thirties through eighties. The show does the work a hired entertainer would otherwise do, and the food is the actual dinner.
Graduation & Family Celebrations
Beverly Hills High and UCLA weekends when the family is in town and every restaurant nearby is booked out.
Private Client & Business Dinners
Smaller, quieter evenings at home where a restaurant would have been the wrong setting entirely.
From the chef
An estate here taught me the thing I did not expect
I cooked a party at a Beverly Hills estate that was everything you would imagine: space, staff, and a host who was extraordinarily generous. She sent every child home with a gift, and she tipped in a way I still remember.
The same year I cooked a grandmother's birthday in Inglewood, in a yard so small I could barely turn around.
Here is what I did not expect: the two parties felt the same. Not similar — the same. Same warmth, same noise, same people leaning in. The money here made that night memorable to me, but it is not what made it a good party. Take away the gifts and the tip and it is still a family that clearly loved each other, which is exactly what Inglewood was.
So when people ask whether their place is nice enough for this, that is my honest answer. The variable was never the yard, and it was never the budget.
Chef Bling — Real HibachiRead the full story →Where We Cook in Beverly Hills
We have set the grill up in most kinds of Beverly Hills space there is. These are the three we see most.
Pool Terraces
Hardscaped terraces with room for the grill well clear of the water — the most common and the easiest Beverly Hills setup.
Garden Lawns & Loggias
Flats properties with mature gardens. We set up on hardscape or a firm level surface rather than soft lawn.
Canyon & Trousdale View Decks
Hillside homes with terraces and city views. Gate access and driveway space are the two things to arrange ahead.
Parking, Space & Setup in Beverly Hills
Gates and access are the Beverly Hills planning items. Many properties here have a call box, a gate code, or staff who need the chef's name in advance — without that, the chef sits at the gate while your party waits. Send the code or add the chef to the list when you confirm, and note whether the service entrance or the main drive is the right approach.
Street parking is restricted on most residential blocks and enforced seriously, so a spot in the motor court or driveway for the chef is the norm here rather than a favor. Beyond that, Beverly Hills setups are among the smoothest we do: level hardscape, real space, and rarely a stair problem. We need roughly a 6x8 ft flat area and about 10 ft of overhead clearance — deep loggias and low pergolas are the one thing worth a photo in advance. During red-flag fire conditions in the canyons we keep the setup on hardscape well clear of brush.
Not sure your space works? Send a photo with your quote request and we will confirm the setup spot before your date.

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free guests are served at the same per-person rate — just tell us when you book. Our standard soy sauce is not gluten free, so a gluten-free guest should have their own on hand and we'll cook their portion with it. We can't promise a nut- or sesame-free table: the sauces and gyoza are commercial products and both sauces contain egg, so tell us the allergy and we'll check the labels in use for your date. The Best Time of Year for a Party in Beverly Hills
This is a hibachi party in your own yard, so the weather decides more than the calendar does. The numbers below are six years of daily observations for Beverly Hills (2019–2024) — not a general Southern California average. Ten miles inland around here can mean fifteen degrees, so a July evening in Beverly Hills is its own question.
Best months for an evening party
April through November
Best months for a lunch party
April through June and October through November
July in Beverly Hills averages a high of 85°F, against 65°F in January. No month here averages above 93°F, which is why Beverly Hills takes daytime bookings comfortably across most of the year.
Rain is worth planning around in March, when about 28% of days see measurable precipitation. That is not a reason to avoid the month — it is a reason to have a plan: a 10'x10' pop-up tent over the chef's station, or seat your guests indoors and let the chef cook on the patio.
Evenings run longest in June, when the sun sets around 8:06pm. If you want the show finishing as the light goes — which is the version everyone photographs — start about ninety minutes before sunset for your month and work back from the table below.
Beverly Hills is 34.3 miles from our base by road. That is inside our free 50-mile radius, so your quote carries no travel fee at all.

What We Actually Buy
Almost nobody in mobile hibachi will tell you the grade of what goes on the grill — you get “fresh ingredients” and a photo. Here is the actual spec for a Beverly Hills party, because at $59.90 a head you should be able to check.
- Beef
USDA Choice Angus top sirloin
Choice is the grade above Select. We buy Angus program beef rather than whatever is cheapest that week.
- Shrimp
BAP-certified
Best Aquaculture Practices — an independent certification covering the farm, the hatchery, the feed and the processing plant.
- Salmon
Atlantic salmon fillet, skinless
Portioned fillet, not trim or belly offcuts.
- Chicken
Boneless, skinless breast
Hatched, raised and harvested in the USA. Breast meat only — no thigh substitution.
- Lobster tail
Wild-caught Caribbean spiny lobster
Our premium upgrade. Wild-caught, not farmed.
- Sauces
Terry Ho’s yum yum sauce and Japanese ginger dressing
The ones you already recognise from the restaurant. Both contain egg.
Allergies: Our standard soy sauce is not gluten free, so a gluten-free guest should have their own gluten-free soy and teriyaki on hand and we'll cook their portion with it. We can't promise a nut- or sesame-free table — the sauces and gyoza are commercial products, the gyoza contain sesame, and one sauce is made in a plant that also handles peanuts. Tell us the allergy when you book and we'll check the labels in use for your date.

Beverly Hills Hibachi FAQ
Do you need gate access details in advance?
Yes, please. A gate code, a call-box name, or the chef added to your guest list means the chef arrives at your door instead of waiting at the entrance. Note too whether you would rather we use the service entrance or the main drive.
Can you set up on a pool terrace?
Yes — pool terraces are our most common Beverly Hills setup. We place the grill on level hardscape with clearance from the water, railings, and anything overhanging, and the chef manages the flame throughout.
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions for a mixed group?
Yes, with advance notice — vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free guests are served at the same per-person rate. Two things to know. Our standard soy sauce is not gluten free, so a coeliac or gluten-free guest should have their own gluten-free soy and teriyaki on hand and we will cook their portion with it. And we cannot promise a nut- or sesame-free table: our sauces and the gyoza are commercial products, some carry allergen advisories, and both sauces contain egg. Tell us the allergy when you book and we will check the labels in use for your date and tell you straight whether we can serve that guest safely.
What does hibachi at home cost in Beverly Hills?
$59.90 per adult, $29.90 per child 5–12, and a flat $5 for kids under 5, with a $599 event minimum — chef, grill, 2 proteins per guest, garlic fried rice, vegetables, salad, the live show, setup, and cleanup all included. Premium upgrades like filet and lobster are available.
How much space do you need in Beverly Hills?
About a 6x8 ft flat area for the grill plus roughly 10 ft of overhead clearance, in open air — a patio, deck, driveway, or yard all work. Enclosed rooms and covered balconies do not. Send a photo when you book and we'll confirm the setup spot before your date.
Is this an indoor or outdoor party?
The cooking is outdoors; the eating does not have to be. A live teppanyaki grill throws real smoke and grease and will set off a smoke alarm indoors, so the grill always stays outside — on a patio, deck, driveway, yard, or roof terrace, with about 10 ft of overhead clearance. Your guests can absolutely sit and eat inside. Plenty of Beverly Hills parties run exactly that way: the chef cooks on the patio and plates come indoors, which is what we'd suggest on a hot afternoon or a cold night.
Can we book a lunch or daytime slot?
Yes. Because the party is outdoors, the right answer depends on your city and the season — midday stays comfortable near the coast for most of the year, while inland and Valley cities are best at lunch roughly October through May and better at sunset in high summer. Daytime slots are usually easier to get than weekend evenings. Tell us your date and preferred time and we'll tell you honestly whether it works.
What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your event and your $19.90 deposit is refunded in full. Inside 72 hours the deposit may become non-refundable. If rain is the problem, a 10'x10' pop-up tent over the chef's station usually saves the party — you provide the tent, we do not supply them — and guests can eat indoors while the chef cooks outside.
