Yes — our Appreciation Program honors a different service community every season: veterans & active military, nurses & healthcare workers, teachers & school staff, and firefighters, EMTs & first responders each take a turn, with $50 off your party while their window is active. Check the current honoree on the quote page, mention it when you book, and show your work badge or service ID to your chef. $599+ parties, one per booking; stacks with the Weekday Special but not with other dollar-off offers.

Cooking is outdoors, so if the forecast is uncertain we recommend a 10'x10' pop-up tent over the chef's station — they are inexpensive to buy or rent, and we do not supply them. Your guests can also eat indoors while the chef cooks outside. If you still need to cancel for weather, notify us at least 72 hours in advance for a full deposit refund.

For parties of any size, you only need to make a single reservation. We'll arrange the appropriate number of chefs based on your guest count.

This is our show-up promise, in writing: your chef is confirmed by name 48 hours before your event, and our chefs are our own team - not gig workers dispatched from an app. If Real Hibachi ever has to cancel on you, we refund double your deposit and give you first priority to rebook. In other words: we show up, or it costs us.

Your chef will pull up about 10 minutes before the start time you chose. Setup is very quick, so we'll be ready with the grill and ingredients moments later.

Yes! We offer table, chair, and tablecloth rental at $10 per person. Utensils are not included in this package. If you need utensils, we can provide them for an additional $5 per person. If you'd rather supply your own tables, chairs, and utensils, that's fine too—just let us know in advance.

No - protecting your home is part of the job. We place a protective tarp under the grill station at every party to shield your patio or ground from grease and heat, and before we leave we pack out our equipment and clean up the cooking area. Your patio looks the way we found it.

All cooking is done outdoors—on patios, balconies, decks or under tents/awnings. (Feel free to arrange seating indoors, but our grill stays outside.) We're fully licensed and insured.

Every adult guest gets 2 proteins plus all the sides - here are the exact portions, in writing:

Kids 5-12 get half portions. Want extra? Extra portions of fried rice and vegetables are free — just tell us before the event so the chef preps and brings enough. Nobody leaves a Real Hibachi party hungry.

Want the fried rice loaded? DIY add-ins - SPAM, bacon, shrimp, or chicken - are $10 each, and extra eggs are just $1 apiece.

Yes. We can accommodate common dietary restrictions when informed in advance. Please include allergy details during booking so the chef can prepare safely.

We cannot promise a nut-free or sesame-free table, and we would rather say so than guess. Our sauces and gyoza are commercial products: the gyoza contain sesame, and one of our sauces is made in a facility that also handles peanuts. Both sauces contain egg. Tell your booking agent about any allergy and we will check the labels of the products in use for your date and tell you honestly whether we can serve that guest safely.

Absolutely. We've served many gluten-free diners. Just bring your preferred gluten-free soy and teriyaki sauces, and we'll prepare their meal on a separate station.
