Parking, stairs & setup
Onshore wind is the real Huntington Beach variable and it picks up in the late afternoon almost every day. It does not stop the show, but a grill set in an open corner with nothing to block it runs harder and cooks slower, so we look for a wall, fence, or the lee side of the house. If your only usable space is fully exposed, tell us and the chef brings extra wind shielding.
Because the ocean keeps midday temperatures reasonable here nearly year-round, lunch and afternoon bookings are a genuine option in Huntington Beach rather than a seasonal one. Downtown blocks near the pier are metered and busy through the evening, and summer weekends make a driveway space genuinely valuable for load-in. Harbour homes are usually easy to park at but often mean a walk down a side yard or a dock ramp — worth mentioning at booking. We need a flat area about the size of a king-size bed, about 10 ft of overhead clearance, and enough distance from a fire pit that the two flames are not competing.

$59.90 per adult and $29.90 per child (5–12), with a $599 event minimum — chef, 2 proteins per guest, veggies, fried rice, salad and the live show included. Monday–Thursday events get the $54.90/adult Weekday Special at any size, with a free appetizer of your choice (gyoza, edamame or spring rolls). The first 50 miles of travel are free; anything beyond is $1/mile, shown upfront in your quote.
How many guests can you cater?
One chef comfortably serves up to 28 guests. Bigger event? We bring additional chefs and grills so the show reaches every table — 50, 80, 100+ guests are all doable with notice. Tell us your headcount in the quote and we'll staff it right.
Do you cater at venues, offices, or rentals — or just homes?
Anywhere with an outdoor spot for the grill: backyards, rooftops, office patios, event venues, parks with permits, Airbnbs. We need a flat area about the size of a king-size bed with 10 ft of overhead clearance in open air. Guests can eat indoors while the chef cooks outside.
What do we need to provide?
Tables, chairs, and place settings — or add our tableware rental ($15/person: tables, chairs, tableware, tablecloth) and provide nothing. We bring the chef, grill, all food, and take everything away after.
How far ahead should we book?
Weekend evenings go first, so two to three weeks ahead is comfortable. Weekday corporate events can often be booked closer in. Cancel or reschedule 48+ hours out at no cost.
