Can you cater our actual wedding reception?
For intimate weddings — backyard ceremonies, micro-weddings, elopement dinners up to about 100 guests — absolutely: we run one chef and grill per 28 guests under a single booking. For a formal plated reception for 150+, we'll be honest: that's banquet territory, and where we shine instead is the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or after-party of that same weekend.
How does a hibachi rehearsal dinner work?
Pick the house — a family backyard, your rental, the Airbnb where the wedding party is staying. The chef arrives about 10 minutes early, cooks course by course with the full show, and cleans up while your families keep talking. Most rehearsal dinners run 25–50 guests across two grills, and a $19.90 deposit locks the date.
How much space do we need?
About a 6x8 ft flat area for the grill plus roughly 10 ft of overhead clearance, in open air — a patio, deck, driveway, or yard all work. The cooking stays outdoors; your guests can eat inside if you like. Send a photo when you book and we'll confirm the setup spot before your date.
How much does it cost?
$59.90 per adult and $29.90 per child (5–12) on the Standard Plan — kids under 5 eat free — with a $599 event minimum. That includes the chef, the live show, 2 proteins per guest, fried rice, vegetables, salad, setup, and cleanup. A $19.90 refundable deposit locks your date.
